Humber Valley Resort is approximately 25 minutes from the Deer Lake airport. It’s one of the easiest drives around. Just leave the airport and turn right onto the Trans Canada Highway. Travel for about 25 minutes on the highway and get off the highway at exit 11. Take a right when you get to the end of the ramp and then a left and go over the bridge where you’ll then find yourself at Humber Valley Resort.

A car is not necessary, however, it sure would make things that much easier as it will be a long walk to most amenities and there is no public transportation. The nearest town is about a 5 minute drive from the resort.

There are several car rental companies located inside the airport terminal in Deer Lake. There is also a taxi stand in Deer Lake where an average taxi ride to Humber Valley Resort will cost approximately $40.00.

Marble Mountain is approximately a 15 minute drive west of the resort, along the Trans Canada Highway on your way to Corner Brook.

The closest grocery store is Foodland and it is located in Pasadena on the main road which you end up on when you take exit 12 from the highway. Stay on that road and it’s about 3 minutes down on your left, just past the gas station.

The larger grocery stores are located in Corner Brook. Here you have a selection of the Newfoundland owned and operated Coleman’s, Dominion, or Sobey’s.

The town of Pasadena is located a convenient 5 minutes east of the resort at exit 12 off of the Trans Canada Highway.

The city of Corner Brook is located just 20 minutes west of the resort at exit 6 off of the Trans Canada Highway.
